Each lesson starts with information you typically find at the top of a lesson plan, and then it invites you to gather your small group of students to take part in the lesson. A note about the lessons and curriculum: Our lessons are scaffolded and aligned for young learners not only to gradually learn the content equivalent of a high school Spanish 1 class, but to also become more inquisitive, analytical, and empowered as lifelong language learners! The lessons explain practice options that are tailored for many types of learners. The idea is for guides to offer one lesson per week (no more than two, please!), and for learners to use the other days to practice or build upon what they have learned. The videos are made by the creator of the curriculum and there will be a video for each and every lesson written in the Laying the Groundwork and the Who We Are and What We Do elementary sets!
These two sets, when purchased as a “Deluxe” or “Standard” option, come with these beautiful Montessori boxes and lids which double as work boards for students. This unique organizational system follows a Montessori structure focusing on grammar (noun and article box, verb box, supporting parts of speech, sentence analysis, etc.)
These boxes and lids are gorgeous and work so well for organizing the materials and placing them on shelves for students to access, but they are not cheap, and I want everyone to have access to the El Puente Bilingüe Spanish language learning materials. That’s why I created this membership option, which DOES NOT include the boxes or work boards.
Already purchased both the deluxe sets above? Great! The videos will be sent to you on a monthly basis throughout the 2024/25 school year, to the email you placed on file! (Side note: Gretchen is also a certified sound healer, and loves the idea of overlapping her passions in a way that serves many people.)
*** Tracking systems for teachers/guides (as well as scholars) that allow you to follow the child and help you reflect together on progress and determine exactly what to do next. These are accompanied with suggested scope and sequences.
