Description
This 2-part video lesson and the included PDF and activities teach your students to describe people’s physical characteristics while using SER and TENER. This lesson is full of vocabulary to talk about general body descriptions as well as hair and eyes. It is not a list of body parts. Reminders for gender and number concordance are given in the video. Students are given opportunity to practice vocabulary and verb conjugations with a series of examples.
The introduction video (FREE for you to preview, as you can see in my store) is in English and it gets the student prepared to learn from a lesson conducted with the use of more Spanish, supporting a comprehensible input approach to learning. In the instructional video the concepts and applicable vocabulary are presented mostly in Spanish, and allow for practice opportunities. Access the videos here. The Student PDF offers written explanation as well as a link to study vocabulary on Quizlet, tips and suggested practice exercises as well as “mastery track” activities. Finally, for your convenience, there is a Google Form quiz students can take in order to check their knowledge.
