Age (using Tener and Ser) – La edad (con ser y tener) – Lesson 21

Description

This 2-part video lesson and the included PDF and activities will teach your students to communicate in Spanish about age, using SER to speak about age brackets and TENER to speak about how old someone is. This offers new vocabulary for age categories, as well as practice cross-linguistic comparisons of the ways we speak about age in English vs in Spanish.

The introduction video (FREE for you to preview, as you can see in my store) is in English and it gets the student prepared to learn from a lesson conducted with the use of more Spanish, supporting a comprehensible input approach to learning. In the instructional video the concepts and applicable vocabulary are presented mostly in Spanish. To access only the videos, click here. The Student PDF offers written explanation, tips and suggested practice exercises as well as “mastery track” activities. Finally, for your convenience, there is a Google Form quiz students can take in order to check their knowledge.
